Imidacloprid 10g/100mL. A straw-coloured fluid for topical application.

Indications:
Treatment and prevention of fleas on dogs, cats and rabbits. One application lasts 4 weeks on dogs and cats, and for 1 week on rabbits. It also kills larval flea stages in the environment. It can be used as part of a treatment strategy for flea allergy dermatitis (FAD) and for lice on dogs. Advantage may be used at the same time as treatment for worms with DRONTAL/DRONCIT.

Advantage may be applied immediately following shampooing once the animal is dry. It is recommended that all dogs, cats and rabbits in the same environment should be protected by Advantage. Advantage may be used as the only product for flea control as it breaks the life cycle and kills all adult fleas emerging from the environment before they successfully re-infest the cat/dog/rabbit.

Directions: 

Cats and rabbits:

Part the hair on the back of the head and apply directly to skin.

Repeat monthly, or as required.

The product is safe for use on pregnant and lactating animals.

It is not necessary to treat unweaned kittens that are in contact with the mother as treatment of her will protect the litter. Treat the mother until weaning, and then treat individual kittens (safe from any age).
