Cryptocoryne Axelrodi is a good plant for aquarists wanting a relatively low care plant, fertilizer and Co2 is not needed, however will promote healthier growth. Cryptocoryne Axelrodi has a unique green-brown colour with narrow leaves. Propagate by splitting the Rhizome or cutting off new growth.
All Cryptocornes are prone to 'Crypt melt' this is typical when first planting in a new aquarium or if water parameters change drastically, to help promote new growth use nutrient rich substrate or root tab fertilisers.
