Crypt Pink Panther or also known as Pink Flamingo is a cultivar of the Cryptocorne Wendtii. This plant will develop a brilliant bright pink colouration with high levels of lighting with red / blue spectrum light ti promote vibrant hues. Pink Panther can tolerate lower levels of lighting but this will result in more olive-toned leaves, but if the lighting is increased the brilliant pink colour will return to the plant.

All Cryptocornes are prone to 'Crypt melt' this is typical when first planting in a new aquarium or if water parameters change drastically, to help promote new growth use nutrient rich substrate or root tab fertilisers.
