Emperor Tetras, also known as Royal Tetra are a peaceful species that doesn't compete well with overky boisterous or much larger tank mates. They are typically peaceful but if kept in too small of a group they can show stress by nipping. Usually a group of 6 minimum is recomended, though they don't tend to group very tightly.
