Lemon Tetras are an active schooling fish, doing well in larger schools. They can be slightly nippy so it is best to not house with long-finned fish and to reduce nipping tendencies, increasing the school size usually works. They can be shy to start, but once settled in the aquarium they add great movement to the tank.
