Mollys are a hugely popular aquarium fish. They come in a wide range of colour morphs as well as body shape like the Balloon Molly. Mollys can be a very hardy fish, even able to be acclimated into marine waters. They do best in a small group of either just males to prevent breeding or a mixed group with more females to males.

All livebearers can be sexed via the anal fin, males will have a gonopodium which looks like a spike, where as females will have a triangle fin.
