Threadfin Rainbows do best in densely planted aquariums as they prefer a low-light, natural feeling enviroment. They originate from slow moving, sluggish waters so flow shouldn't be too high in the aquarium. Threadfin Rainbows can be susceptible to swings in water chemistry so it is best to only add them to a fully established aquarium.
