Tissue Cultures are carefully propagated in a laboratory to ensure plant health. Tissue Cultures are grown in a closed container which means you can enjoy a pest free and disease free plant. The plant will grow in the container until all the nutrients within the agar / liquid is used. If you do not wish to plant right away, keep the container sealed and store in a cool place. Before planting, thoroughly wash off all agar / liquid from the  plant. Once container is opened, plant immediately. 

Cryptocoryne Wendtii 'Green Gecko' Crypts and heavy root feeders so a nutrient rich substrate and / or use of root tab fertilisers is best. Propagation is easily achieved by cutting the rhizome.

All Cryptocornes are prone to 'Crypt melt' this is typical when first planting in a new aquarium or if water parameters change drastically, to help promote new growth use nutrient rich substrate or root tab fertilisers.
