Formulated to replace salts lost in sweat, to assist recovery from fatigue and dehydration and as a boost for performance.

Equi-gold® Electrolyte Plus has been specially formulated to balance and replace the electrolytes lost in sweat, plus replace the B-complex vitamins that are not stored in the body and also lost during sweating. Folic Acid, Rutin, Choline, Niacin, Vitamin E and Organic Zinc are included as each plays an important role when horses are performing under stress and varying climatic conditions. Dextrose is provided as an energy source.

Performance horses on grain based diets, performing under stress or affected by severe hot or humid conditions, will lose a great deal of body fluid (sweat) in the natural cooling process. Electrolytes and co-factors are vital in maintaining the integrity of the physiological and bio-chemical processes within cells. Feeding Equi-gold® Electrolyte Plus powder on a daily basis, will help to correct the imbalances caused through sweating.

Each kilogram of active contains:

Sodium Chloride 188gm, Sodium Sulphate 62.5gm, Sodium Bicarbonate 94gm, Potassium Chloride 26gm, Magnesium Sulphate 25gm, Mono Calcium Phosphate 490gm, Choline Bitartrate 17.6gm, Dextrose Monohydrate 49.45gm, Rutin 1.7gm, Inositol 8.7gm, Vitamins B1 2.76gm, B2 3.4gm, B6 0.158gm, B12 0.0143gm, E 3.6gm, Niacin 10.45gm, Folic Acid 0.186gm and QT® Zinc 30gm, on a special apple flavoured base.

Dosage and Administration:

All performance horses
   

• 30gms daily top-dressed in feed, feed an extra 30gms pre and post race or competition
  Yearlings and Stallions
• 30gms daily top-dressed in feed (yearlings during sale preparations and stallions during servicing periods)
  Endurance and Polo Horses
• 30gms daily top-dressed in feed, feed extra 30gms in night feed after event travelling   
• 60-90gms pre travel and 30gms in drinking water during travel

Equigold Electrolyte Plus may also be administered via drinking water or as a saline drench, mix 120gms with 2-3lts of warm water.
